Mobile Photography & Art – Tip of the Day – Set Up An Alternative Face ID in iOS 12
We are re-igniting our Tip of the Day section and we have a great one here that you may not be aware of yet. With iOS 12 it’s now possible to set up an ‘alternative appearance’ for unlocking your iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max or XR. Previously, only one facial id could do this. This maybe a useful feature if you need to unlock your child’s device, or perhaps if you share a device. Whatever the reason, here’s how you do it: By the way, if you’d like to read our previous tips, please go here.

Mobile Photography & Art – Tip of the Day – Tell Siri To Fire The Shutter Button
We are re-igniting our Tip of the Day section and we have a great one here that’s going to be of huge use to many photographers and to my mind it’s a feature that ought to be written into camera firmware too. An Observation from Tania Konnerth “Give chance a chance! Some of my best pics happened by quasi by accident, for example by fooling around with different features of an app or by just taking random photos without an actual idea or concept. For my that’s one of the most beautiful features of mobile photography: that it allows chance to come into the game. For example in my very early steps into iphoneography I was always amazed about the results which…

It’s been a while since we updated our Tip of the Day section and it’s one of the many areas we are going to continue to focus on. Ensuring that you are kept up to date with everything you need to know relating to mobile photography and art. We were asked a question today relating to mobile video. I was thinking of putting in a sequence of an evolving edit as a background to my voice. If not imovie, can you recommend a different video app that…
